Shigehiro Shinozaki is Financial Sector Specialist (SME Finance), Office of Regional Economic Integration, Asian Development Bank. Shigehiro holds a Ph.D. in Asia-Pacific Studies from Waseda University in Japan and an MBA from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France. Prior to joining ADB, he worked at the Ministry of Finance in Japan for more than 20 years through holding various posts such as a Special Officer for Development Finance, with eight years of international experience working at OECD as an Administrator and the Indonesian government (Bapepam-LK) as an advisor. His expertise includes policy issues in microfinance, SME finance, housing finance, and capital market development especially in Asia. In ADB, he supports developing member countries in improving SME access to finance through various technical assistance projects.
