Afriland First Bank Joins the 'SME Finance Forum' Network

Yaounde, 15 September 2016 - Afriland First Bank, leader in the banking sector in Cameroon, announced that he joins the "SME Finance Forum" network. Taking this step will help Afriland First Bank to capitalize on the experiences shared around this exchange platform to provide innovative and better suited solutions to supporting and funding Cameroonian companies.

This move is to ensure consistency with the overall strategy of Afriland First Bank, firmly positioned on the Cameroonian market as the bank of small and medium size enterprises, the latter being the unique creator of value and jobs. It is important to remember that the business market segment represents 80% of the bank cash commitment.

The "SME Finance Forum" is a platform that brings together financial institutions, technology providers and development-oriented financial institutions which work together to facilitate access to finance for small and medium enterprises. The objectives of the platform are to share knowledge and experience and promote the growth of SME.
