Corporate payments in Italy: the experience carried out by Banca d’Italia and the European perspective

Full automated payment processing procedures have positive impacts on overall operating costs of firms (and banks!). Payment and e-invoicing are closely related process. Standardization of e-invoicing and payments is mutually beneficial with respect to payment and reconciliation process associated with the dematerialization process.
