Kinara Capital provides loans in the range of $2K-$20K (INR 100,000-INR 1,000,000) to micro and small enterprises in India filling the gap between microfinance and commercial capital. It works with network partners (buyers, trade organizations, franchisors, etc.) across supply chains to source and fund working capital needs of small manufacturing businesses, artisan clusters and agri-retailers. Since its launch in November 2011, it has disbursed approx. INR 9 crore (approx. $1.7 million) to manufacturing, renewable energy and agri retail businesses in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra with zero defaults.
